Gold Leaf

Using metallic paints and plaster gives you an amazing palette that offers texture and shine. In the powder room I designed above, we used gold leaf to hand paint gingko leaves onto chocolate brown plaster. The combination creates a dramatically dimensional look that my clients won’t see anywhere else.

Bold Scale Wallpaper

Wallpaper is always a great way to add drama to your walls. But try a bold pattern or a dramatic color to really add that wow factor! Experiment with the design. Some companies will even allow you to craft your own colorway, so ask your designer how far you can take a BIG look!

Beads and Baubles

Yes, you can add dimension to your walls with 3D additions like beads and baubles. On the wall above, I worked with Luxe Fine Finishes to develop a plaster wall accented with glass bead cherry blossoms. Yes, glass beads! Think out of the box!

Hand Painting

If you want a specific pattern and you can’t find it, then MAKE it! In the bathroom above, I created a mineral design that was executed by Luxe Fine Finishes. It’s a geode style that is eye-popping!
