Gorgeous Gingko

The shape of gingko leaves has always been one of my favorites. Gingko represents strength, hope, and peace, but to me it’s always meant beauty. The fan shape of the leaves is unusual and intriguing, and the colors can be breathtaking. That’s why I used the gingko as inspiration for the handpainted walls in this bathroom I designed!

One of the most stunning designs I’ve ever seen is the gingko table created by Tommy Mitchell. He’s a North Carolina artist known for his work in metals and lucite.

For a gingko design that I could definitely bring home, there’s none better than this gorgeous Gingko Wall Sconce from Currey & Company. I love the antiqued gold finish, too.

As an accent, gingko leaves are perfectly shaped. Look at how they work as the motif on this accent table from Audenza.

The gingko leaf looks both strong and resilient at the same time. Maybe that’s the attraction for me. What do you think of the gingko motif? Let me know in the comments below!

Warmly,
