Winter White

White is a clean and pristine color that feels crisp and edited, and it's perfect for interiors. To keep white rooms from feeling too cold in the winter, I like to add wood tones, texture, or a pop of color to keep things cozy.

In the room above, that brushed gold lamp is the perfect accent to warm up this fabulous white bedroom.

Pops of color, like the hot pink above, work even better against an all-white backdrop. And there's no color that says "clean" in kitchens and bathrooms better than a bright white.

Remember that whites can change color, depending on undertones and the amount of light that a room receives. You can see how the white walls above start to go grayer as the light becomes dimmer.

If you're planning a white room, paint sample shades on the wall and observe the light for at least 24 hours to ensure you're getting the color you want.

Warmly,
