Inspired by: Patriotic Colors
Tomorrow is Flag Day, and, of course, the Fourth of July is just a few weeks away. I’m so inspired by a red, white, and blue palette. I love the creativity you can bring to it and the different variations that you can pull together.
Americana-inspired accessories, for example, liven up a white, gray, or light blue room with a patriotic punch of color. My eye moves to this lamp, in particular, with its blue base and deep red lampshade. What a great pop of color and infusion of energy!
Do you have a plain white hallway? Here’s another take on red, white, and blue style. Keep the walls white, and accent the doors and ceiling in blue and red. Such an easy yet beautiful transformation.
If you have red wallpaper, and you’re wondering what color accessories to place against it, you can’t go wrong with blue. The two work together seamlessly every time.
Let your bedding and draperies make the statement you’re looking for. Consider classic patterns like gingham, toile, dots, and don’t be afraid to mix and match.
I adore this bold, red chest surrounded by chinoiserie accessories. A whole, new way of red-white-and-blue decorating.
