5 Fab Bathrooms

In addition to my recent color series, I want to share a series that showcases my favorite rooms this spring. Today, we’re starting with bathrooms – the one room that’s usually more utilitarian than “designed,” except in these gorgeous examples!

1. I love a mix of modern and antique, and the bathroom below perfectly combines the two. From the rough-hewn floors to the crystal chandelier, it’s a room that’s both sleekly contemporary and historically inspired.

2. An onyx tub is the star of the show in the home below, where sliding shoji screens offer privacy or a view of the gorgeous landscape outside.

3. Don’t forget color! I love how cobalt blue instantly transforms this guest bath from all white to zingy eye candy!

4. Speaking of the blues, I love the glam moodiness of this more formal retreat. It’s got real personality.

5. For a functional look, I love a bathroom with cabinets galore. This room also offers a brightly-lit nook for makeup and daily prep.
