If you’ve been reading my blog, you know that I like to think differently about design and to create sophisticated spaces for my clients. A unique way to do that is by designing the floor.
If the ceiling is the “fifth wall,” the floor is the sixth. It’s a great place to create drama, like in this painted black-and-white chevron floor by Miles Redd that punches up this entryway!
I love this gray herringbone pattern on the floor. I’ve seen it on walls and backsplashes but putting the pattern on the floor adds a dynamic look to a simple and clean kitchen.
Whether painted or installed, fun floors can add sophistication and flair to your home.
